With the addition of the transformative Soutron library and knowledge management solutions, LAC’s LaaS now includes a spectrum of capabilities encompassing traditional on-site staffing and library management as well as cloud-based content delivery platforms and LAC’s distributed network of North American and UK-based researchers, librarians and information specialists. Library as a Service℠ leverages both client-side and LAC resources to offer complete end-to-end library management solutions and incremental offerings that augment existing in-house capabilities. With the addition of Soutron’s Integrated Library Software system, clients of LAC Group will now be able to choose to integrate their existing ILS or leverage the LaaS-integrated Soutron ILS. Existing Soutron Global clients may apply their subscription to the LAC Library as a Service portal.
Further, Soutron Global clients can now choose to activate links directly to LAC’s distributed force of law and corporate librarians around the globe to assist with primary and secondary research requests, marketing or pitch support with Competitive and Business Intelligence Reports, At-a-Glance Reports, setting up curated news alerts, and much more.
